The Cybersecurity Extension for SAP provides greater coverage than SAP ETD and includes more than 1000 predefined threat detection patterns to secure application, database and host layers within SAP systems against cyber threats. The number of patterns included in SAP ETD is approximately 150 for the on-premise edition and 50 for the cloud edition.
Faster Deployment
Unlike SAP ETD, the Cybersecurity Extension for SAP is an add-on for existing SAP solutions such as SAP Solution Manager and SAP Focused Run. Support for SAP GRC is planned for Q4 2024. Therefore, it does not require new servers and infrastructure. This leads to more rapid deployment and easier maintenance.
Greater Value
The Cybersecurity of Extension for SAP is an integrated solution that provides coverage for SAP threat detection and incident response with integration with SIEM systems. The solution also provides coverage for SAP vulnerability management, patch management, custom code security, and compliance monitoring. Licensing for the Cybersecurity Extension for SAP is a fraction of the cost of SAP ETD.
